The Philippine Army, through the Training and Doctrine Command, culminated the 2022 3rd Training Cycle that included 39 career and specialization courses in a closing ceremony at Camp O’Donnell, Capas, Tarlac on December 9, 2022.
11th Infantry “Alakdan” Division Commander Maj. Gen. Ignatius N. Patrimonio, who served as the closing ceremony’s guest of honor and speaker, lauded the officers and men who hurdled the various career and specialization courses. This year’s 3rd training cycle benefitted a total of 3,458 Army officers and men who underwent career and specialization courses that are needed for professional advancement.
The recently concluded training cycle also addressed the organization’s training backlog and the unintended impact of Republic Act 11709 which affects the attrition and promotion of Army personnel.
Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., in his command guidance “SERVE,” has prioritized the enhancement of soldiers' individual skills and unit capabilities through continuous training.
