The Army Dragon Warriors continue their winning streak for the year after ruling the 4th Leg of the Philippine Dragon Boat Federation (PDBF) Regatta on the Dolomite Beach, Manila Baywalk on January 29, 2023.
The champion team ruled the tourney’s three categories: 200-meter women's small boat, 200-meter mixed standard board; and 200-meter open standard boat. The Army Dragon Warriors’ latest victory marked a clean sweep of the PDBF Regatta which resumed last year after the cancellation of sporting events due to the pandemic.
The Philippine Army Dragon Warriors, one of the founding members of PDBF, has been a powerhouse team since it debuted in the local dragon boat scene back in 2010. The team brought home gold medals during the International Dragon Boat Federation-sanctioned World Dragon Boat Championships in Italy in 2014 and Australia in 2016.
