The Commanding General Philippine Army Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner Jr., led the donning of ranks to the 16 newly promoted generals in a ceremony on July 3, 2023, at the Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
The Army chief lauded the promoted senior officers as he donned their ranks in the ceremonial rite. Lt. Gen. Brawner Jr. expressed his optimism that the organization will continue to thrive on challenges in accomplishing its mission with the help of its leaders.
"I extend my warmest congratulations for your well-deserved promotion. You have demonstrated your commendable brand of competence throughout your military journey, and today you stand as a shining example of what it means to become a servant leader in the Philippine Army," said Lt. Gen. Brawner.
