CGPA fetes graduating members of Army's OCC Class 58-2023

The Commanding General of the Philippine Army, Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner Jr., feted the graduating members of the Officers Candidate Course "Gaigmat" Class 58-2023 through a reception dinner at Kastelo Verde, Capas, Tarlac on July 4, 2023.
 
The command welcomed the 106 officer candidates who will graduate on July 7, 2023, at the Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, after one year of rigorous training to become tactically proficient Army Officers. The incoming second lieutenants come from various provinces all over the country. They have diverse academic and professional backgrounds ranging from civil engineering, agricultural and biosystems engineering, criminology, medical technology, fisheries technology, psychology, nutrition and dietetics, and teaching.
 
In his keynote message, the Army Chief Lt. Gen. Brawner also lauded the officers and personnel of the Training and Doctrine Command on their efforts in training future officers: "Congratulations for a job well done! I'm sure that you can be proud of your class. We want to give importance; we want to value the contributions you are making, training the future officers of the Philippine Army. Yung nakita nila sa TRADOC is their first impression of the Philippine Army,” he said.
