The Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner Jr. welcomed United States Army 1st Armored Division Commanding General Maj. Gen. James P. Isenhower III, who rendered a courtesy call at the Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on July 20, 2023.
During the visit, Lt. Gen. Brawner Jr. and Maj. Gen. Isenhower III discussed mutually important Armor-related matters to sustain the strong relations between the two Armies. Both agreed that they would support each other’s capacity and personnel competencies development plans, especially towards standard operating procedures (SOPs) of Counter-Terrorism Operations in Urban Environment and Combined Arms and Joint Operations.
The high-level visit advanced both countries’ interests amidst defense and security challenges in the international and regional domains. Both generals significantly contributed to sharing best practices, forging partnerships, and building confidence between the two Armies.
