The Philippine Army, through the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Civil-Military Operations (OG7), concluded the three-day Public Affairs Summit 2023 with Army Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. Potenciano C. Camba as the Guest of Honor and Speaker in a Closing Ceremony at Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on August 3, 2023.
The three-day forum, scheduled from August 1 to August 3, 2023, aimed at elevating the effectiveness of Public Affairs activities on the ground. The activity also introduced innovative strategies and best practices in Public Affairs to enhance the knowledge of participants and contribute to the Army’s overall success and organizational excellence. The event was actively participated by Public Affairs Officers of the different Philippine Army Major Units.
The Army leadership lauded the OG7 for their commendable efforts in facilitating the summit, which is geared to enhance the capabilities of Public Affairs Officers in information dissemination and media relations, ensuring greater effectiveness in their roles.
