Civil-Military Operations Regiment celebrates 70th anniversary

The Philippine Army’s Civil-Military Operations Regiment (CMOR) celebrated its 70th founding anniversary at CMOR Headquarters, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on August 3, 2023, as the regiment highlights the personnel, organizational, and capability development journey through a series of non-traditional, creative programs, and activities.

Anchored on the theme, “Army’s Source of CMO Professionals,” Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines Gen. Romeo S. Brawner Jr. served as the Guest of Honor and Speaker who lauded the career development programs, innovations, and productive collaborations of CMOR with its key partners.

Moreover, Gen. Brawner also lauded the achievements of the CMOR, who played a very important role as peace-builders, innovative thinkers, patriotic soldiers, and excellent communicators. “I am even prouder today to see how the CMO Regiment has grown, has developed, and has progressed to what it is today – you have innovated a lot of capabilities that are relevant in today’s situation to counter the threats we are facing today,” the AFP Chief of Staff highlighted in his anniversary remarks.
