The Philippine Army emerged as Champion in the Swimming sports activity under combined teams for Boys and Girls category, copping a gold medal in the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP)-hosted Little Olympics 2023 at Camp Crame, Quezon City on August 05, 2023.
The Olympics is an annual sports event for dependents of uniformed services personnel to provide an avenue for showcasing their sporting talents while fostering meaningful relationships with peers. Young athletes from the AFP, Philippine National Police (PNP), Philippine Air Force (PAF), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and Philippine Navy (PN) competed in the swimming sports activity.
The Army leadership commended the Team Army dependents for giving their best effort to win in the Swimming sports activity which reflects the values of excellence and teamwork that are integral to the Army.
