The Philippine Army, through the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), concluded this year's 2nd Training Cycle in a closing ceremony with the Commanding General Philippine Army Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido as Guest of Honor and Speaker at Camp O’Donnell, Capas, Tarlac on August 25, 2023.
The 2nd training cycle catered 3600 Army students who composed the 83 career and specialization courses conducted by the TRADOC to capacitate our soldiers to become more relevant and reliable leaders that will serve our country.
During his keynote message, Lt. Gen. Galido lauded the training institution and the students for their dedication and, at the same time gave emphasis on the importance of training and education. “Training and education are essential to mission accomplishment. If we want our troops razor-sharp, they need to be trained in all things new and necessary, as much as they need to stay fit,” Lt. Gen. Galido said.
