The Philippine Army joined the nation in commemorating this year’s National Heroes Day on August 28, 2023, at the Libingan Ng Mga Bayani, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido and Army soldiers participated in a wreath-laying ceremony as a tribute to the heroes whose sacrifices and bravery shaped the country’s history.
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. graced the activity and recognized the heroic deeds of those who laid their lives for the nation.
