FORT BONIFACIO, Taguig City - The Philippine Army joined the 2023 3rd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) through the participation of the Officers, Enlisted Personnel, and Civilian Human Resource of the different post units and offices at the Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on September 07, 2023.
The Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill is a quarterly exercise that aims to enhance the preparedness of government units, line agencies, and other agencies. It also seeks to educate the general public on the measures to take when an earthquake occurs. All Army personnel actively participated in the drill, from the execution of the "Duck, Cover, and Hold" procedure to evacuation to a designated safe consolidation area.
The Army leadership expresses its support to all programs and initiatives of the national government and ensures the public that the Army is always ready in any disaster.##
