The Commanding General Philippine Army (CGPA), Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido, welcomed the Deputy Commanding General, United States Army Pacific (USARPAC), Lt. Gen. James B. Jarrard, who rendered a courtesy call at Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on September 12, 2023.
During the call, Lt. Gen Jarrard and Lt. Gen Galido discussed various aspects pertaining to the bilateral activities of both armies, with a primary focus on exercises, training, and capacity building in cyber security, territorial defense, humanitarian assistance, warfighting functions, countering terrorism, and human resource development.
The Army Chief expressed his utmost appreciation for the cooperation of the United States Army, which has played a pivotal role in fortifying the strong bilateral relations shared between the two Army.
