The Philippine Army signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Dakak Resort and Properties in promoting the Army troop's morale and welfare at Brgy. Taguilon, Dapitan City, Zamboanga del Norte on October 7, 2023.
The agreement gears toward providing a suitable rest and recreation (R&R) environment for the members of the Philippine Army. Dakak Resort will offer privileges and discounted rates to all Army troops in terms of accommodations, meals, and other amenities.
Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido conveyed his deepest gratitude to the Dakak Resort and Properties President and General Manager, Ms. Svetlana Jalosjos De Leon for their support and trust in the Philippine Army, most especially in catering to the recreational needs and activities of Army personnel. Lt. Gen. Galido also highlighted that the command prioritizes the soldiers’ welfare and individual development, “In the Army, morale is paramount. We take care of our soldiers’ well-being because they are the core strength of our force,” the Army chief said.
