Over 170 patrolling teams, including 40 from foreign countries, participated in the different phases of the exercise hosted by the 160th (Welsh) Brigade. This year's iteration of Exercise Cambrian Patrol started on October 6 and will conclude on October 15. As of writing, no teams have qualified for the Gold Medal.

Eight soldiers, led by 1st Lt. Junjun M. Bayudan, from the First Scout Ranger Regiment successfully hurdled Phase II of the British Army's most arduous patrolling event.

The Army Commanding General commended the troops for showcasing the PA's tactical proficiency, adaptability, and determination in the international arena. He also extended his appreciation to the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Welsh, for hosting the Philippine Army during the exercise.
