The Philippine Army accorded arrival honors to the 21 newly promoted generals who recently affirmed their oath of office at the Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on October 28, 2023.
The Army’s Security and Escort Battalion of the Installation Management Command rendered the arrival honors to the generals who were applauded for their unparalleled dedication and leadership in carrying out their duties and responsibilities.
Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido extended his congratulations to the promoted generals and implored them to utilize their newly acquired ranks to better serve as military officers.
"I want you to use your ranks to give more blessings to those in need. Now, we have to emphasize that rank must be a responsibility of providing more to those in need, to those who need more attention and to the majority of the members of our organization,” the Army Chief remarked.
