The Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido reiterated his command thrusts encapsulated in the word “ARMY” during the CGPA’s Time with Philippine Army Major Unit (PAMU) Commanders at the Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on November 21, 2023.
Various commanders and senior officers attended face-to-face and via Video Teleconferencing (VTC). The Army chief emphasized the significance of his command guidance to the Army troops in performing their mandated duties to the people and the country. Soldiers should Always pray to seek divine guidance in their daily activities; soldiers should strive to be Reliable, Responsive, Relevant to address the needs of the nation; and every resource, effort, and sacrifice must be Mission-oriented to strengthen the troops’ Morale which is paramount in the command - all these essential qualities of the soldiers to Yield personal interests and comforts for unity, the Army, the Armed Forces of the Philippines, and the nation.
Lt. Gen. Galido fortifies internal security and develops the Philippine Army after President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s marching order to end the remaining communist insurgency and transform the Army into a world-class military force.
