The Commanding General, Philippine Army (CGPA) Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido visited the home of the 6th Infantry “Kampilan” Division (6ID) at Camp Brig. Gen. Gonzalo H. Siongco, Awang, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao on January 30, 2024.
Lt. Gen. Galido, in his "Talk to Troops", emphasized the importance of taking care of one’s health which is crucial in mission accomplishment. The Army Chief also called on Kampilan troopers to keep on innovating for the betterment of the Philippine Army, highlighting the long-term goal of ensuring the skills-based development and professionalization of Army personnel as they progress in their military careers.
The Army Chief also lauded the Kampilan troopers for a job well done and called on them to continue to contribute to the attainment of the Philippine Army’s mission. “All of my policies are focused on changing the way we are doing things and your contribution will mean a lot,” the CGPA remarked.
