PA, Australian Army troops step up collaboration in ongoing Exercise Kasangga

Around 100 personnel from the 5th Infantry Division (5ID) and 50 Australian soldiers gained more profound knowledge and understanding of various military operations as the Exercise Kasangga progressed in Camp Melchor Dela Cruz, Upi, Gamu, Isabela on May 23, 2024.

 

Filipino and Australian Army troops shared insights on Signal Communication, Principles and Scope of Army First Aid, Combat Shooting, Basic Fire Mission, and Point Target Reconnaissance.

 

The Philippines has a strong and enduring defense and security partnership with Australia. The annual Exercise Kasangga bolsters the Army-to-Army relationship, improves capabilities, and fosters regional stability and security.
