JPMRC-X complete, alliance continues between Philippine and US Armies

The Philippine and US Armies assured that partnership would still continue between them — even after the completion of the Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Center-Exportable (JPMRC-X) on June 10, 2024 at Fort Magsaysay, Palayan City, Nueva Ecija.

The ceremony not just marked the successful conclusion of the exercise but also emphasized the bonds formed among allied forces.

Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido extended his appreciation to the US counterpart for their benevolence and determination in various drills. "I thank the USARPAC for the continued support in the Philippine Army's capability development and capacity building through education and training. The replication of this exercise in our country fortifies our military partnership in pursuit of adapting and responding to the ever-evolving and complex security landscape," the Army chief said.

The inaugural JPMRC-X Exercise introduces PA and USARPAC troops to tough and realistic training scenarios that are designed to challenge them tactically, as well as across language and procedural barriers. The said bilateral exercise also tests large-scale combat capabilities across various environments, fostering readiness and interoperability between Philippine and US ground forces.
