Army mints 273 new second lieutenants

A total of 273 new second lieutenants of the Officer Candidate Course (OCC) Class 60 "Aramsidlak" 2024 completed the one-year training for Army officers in a graduation ceremony graced by Secretary of National Defense Gilberto C. Teodoro Jr. at the Training and Doctrine Command, Camp O'Donnell, Capas, Tarlac on June 15, 2024.

 

The top professions of the newly-commissioned officers are teachers, engineers, and criminologists who hurdled the pre-entry course that includes a basic military training program, officer training program, and warfighting program.

 

Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido also reminded the new lieutenants to stay ready and be able on focusing what is necessary in the organization — "Always remember to pray. In moments of confusion or at personal or professional crossroads, prayer will be your best guide, the compass that will lead your way forward".
