The Philippine Army honored former commanding generals who took helm of the organization in a luncheon ceremony at the Philippine Army Officers Clubhouse, Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila on August 26, 2024.
The ceremony commemorated the heroism and contributions to the organizations of the past Army Chiefs. "The Philippine Army has experienced remarkable growth, marked by numerous adjustments to our procedures and the way we carry out our mission. These changes are a testament to our adaptability in the face of evolving security challenges," Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido said in his remarks.
Lt. Gen. Galido also paid tribute to the courage, sacrifice, and vision of the former Army leaders who have defined the Army's victories through the years.
