The Philippine Army conducts a Novelty Shoot in line with its 126th-anniversary celebration at Headquarters Philippine Army (HPA), Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila on March 18, 2023.
The Ceremonial Shoot was led by Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., and then followed by the performance in pistol marksmanship of the Army Major Unit Commanders and HPA Staff.
A total of 10 teams from Army Major Units and HPA Staff participated in the four stages of the shoot fest utilizing the knock-out system for determining the winners of the game. Moreover, Team No. 1 led by Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., emerged as the champion in the Team vs. Team category of the fun shoot.
Likewise, Lt. Gen. Brawner congratulated the winners for their display of overall teamwork. He also recognized the commanders for responsibly handling firearms during the anniversary activity.
