Army dons star ranks to 2 newly promoted generals FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila – The Philippine Army donned star ranks to 2 newly promoted generals
in a ceremony held here, Monday, January 29, 2018.The Philippine Army Vice Commander, Major General Robert M Arevalo led the donning of ranks during the flag raising ceremony.
The promoted generals are Major General Danilo Chad D. Isleta, Chief of Staff of the Philippine Army and Brigadier General Henry A. Robinson, Commander of the 702nd Infantry Brigade, 7th Infantry Division based in Manaoag, Pangasinan.
Major General Arevalo in his message congratulated the two senior officers for their well-deserved promotion. “The Philippine Army needs the best senior leaders to lead our troops in combat and our transformation initiatives towards its goal of more progressive world-class Philippine Army that is a source of national pride,” he added.
The ceremony was witnessed by the Philippine Army officers, enlisted personnel and civilian employees. Family members of the newly promoted generals were also present during the ceremony.#
