NPA MEMBERS SURRENDER TO ARMY’S BALIK-LOOB ASSISTANCE CENTER

Mawab, Compostela Valley – One (1) fulltime member of New People’s Army (NPA) and one (1) Militia ng Bayan voluntarily surrendered to 71st Infantry (Kaibigan) Battalion’s Balik-Loob Assistance Center on January 24, 2019, 4:00 o’clock in the afternoon. The surrendered NPA members are alias Freck, 24 years old, single, a fulltime NPA, team leader and supply officer and alias Danny, 51 years old, a Militia ng Bayan member, Chairman of Kilusang Rebolusyonaryo sa Baryo (KRB), finance and collector of BAGER voluntarily surrendered to Lieutenant Colonel Esteveyn E Ducusin, Commanding Officer of 71st IB at Balik-Loob Centers situated at its Headquarters in Purok 8, Brgy. Nueva Visayas, Mawab, Compostela Valley. Both surrenderees admitted that they were involved in the series of atrocities happened last 2017 and 2018 in different parts of Comval. “They surrendered because they realized that they were just used by the NPAs in their useless cause. We are calling the remaining NPAs to start living a peaceful life, surrender now and avail of the government’s Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program,” Ducusin said.
