Army Support Group has a new commander

FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila –The Philippine Army has installed a new camp commander

for the Headquarters and Headquarters Support Group during a Change of Command Ceremony held here on Wednesday, January 31, 2018. Brigadier General Roy T. Devesa is the new designated commander of the Headquarters and Headquarters Support Group, Philippine Army. He replaced Colonel Kiram-Azgar A. Grajo who temporarily acted after the retirement of the recent post commander, Brigadier General Rodel Mauro R. Alarcon on January 24, 2017.

Army Vice Commander Major General Robert M. Arevalo presided the Change of Command Ceremony. The event was witnessed by headquarters based officers, enlisted personnel and civilian employees.

Devesa is a member of the Philippine Military Academy “Sandiwa” class 1985. Prior to his post, Devesa served as Brigade Commander of 503rd Infantry Brigade in 2015 and recently as Assistant Division Commander of the Army’s 5th Infantry Division based in Upi, Gamu, Isabela.#
