MAJOR GENERAL 
IGNATIUS NOBLE PATRIMONIO assumed as the 4th Commander of 11th Infantry (ALAKDAN) Division, Philippine Army and Joint Task Force Sulu on 23 February 2022 covering the whole of Sulu archipelago under the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao as its area of responsibility.
He started his military career when he entered the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) in 1987 and graduated as a proud member of the PMA “SAMBISIG” Class of 1991.
MGEN PATRIMONIO is a living testament on the continuous improvement of the security landscape in Southern Philippines since most of his command and critical positions were spent in Mindanao and he has made significant contribution on its development. He was the Company Commander of 2nd Scout Ranger Company and 12th Scout Ranger Company, First Scout Ranger Regiment based in Basilan in 1997; the Battalion Commander of 2nd Scout Ranger Battalion from 2012 to 2014 operating in Davao, Caraga, Bukidnon, Maguindanao and North Cotabato; the Chief of Staff, Presidential Security Group and Deputy Group Commander, PSG based in Davao in 2016 to 2018; the Brigade Commander of 1102nd Infantry Brigade, 11ID in 2019 to 2021; and the Commander of the 1st Brigade Combat Team, Philippine Army in 2021 in Central Mindanao prior to his current position today.
He also assumed positions responsible on the development of future officers and noble warriors of the Armed Forces of the Philippines such as the Head of the Department of Ground Warfare, Tactics Group; Assistant Commandant of Cadets of PMA; and Course Director at the Scout Ranger Training School, First Scout Ranger Regiment, Special Operations Command, Philippine Army.
He also held various important staff positions in the following capacities as the Operations Officer of 1st Scout Ranger Battalion;
