Troops of the 11th Infantry “Alakdan” Division availed the Rest and Recreation Flight for the third time from Jolo Airport, Jolo, Sulu to Metro Manila on June 16, 2023.
At around 12:30pm, the 30 military personnel and 2 dependents who took the flight through the Philippine Air Force C-130 with tail number 5040 departed from Sulu to its destination. It is very economical for the passengers to avail the said flight.
In a statement, Maj. Gen. Ignatius N. Patrimonio, Commander of the 11th Infantry Division expressed his gratitude as the C-130 aircraft was able to transport again the troops who were availing the rest and recreation.
“These initiatives will definitely boost the morale and welfare of our troops. It is an opportunity for them for a less hustle travel to enjoy their time with their families after rendering their duties. With this initiative of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the troops will be motivated in the performance of their mandated tasks. This is also a chance to recharge and help them to maximize the time with their loved ones,” said Maj. Gen. Patrimonio.
