The 11th Infantry Division and Office of the Barangay Tagbak of Indanan officiated the inauguration of the Panglima Mammah Elementary School Library in Barangay Tagbak, Indanan, Sulu on July 14, 2023.
According to Mrs. Melba V. Kadil, Teacher In-Charge of Panglima Mammah Elementary School, the library was made possible through the initiatives and support of the 11ID saying, "With all your way to help our school, it meant so much not only just for me and the teachers but to our students. You made a difference with your dedication and support to our school."
Maj. Gen. Ignatius N. Patrimonio, Commander of the 11ID and Joint Task Force Sulu graced as the keynote speaker of the said event. "We capitalize on our children, we provide them with quality access to education. This library will served as their avenue for research purposes and use to acquire knowledge.", said Maj. Gen. Patrimonio.
Among the highlights of the activity were the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and symbolic piling of books inside the library of the students and teachers of Panglima Mammah Elementary School.
Present during the event were Brig. Gen. Christopher C. Tampus, Brigade Commander of 1103rd Bde, Hja. Darwisa Jakiran, Barangay Kagawad; Battalion Commanders and other civilian stakeholders.
