The 104th Infantry "Para sa Bayan" Battalion celebrated its 1st Founding Anniversary at Camp Muksan, Barangay East Kuntad, Siasi, Sulu on August 20, 2023.
In his anniversary message, Lt. Col. Roland C. Arreola, Commanding Officer of 104IB said, "It has been an incredible year and I am so proud of everything that we have done and accomplished as a unit. Through hardwork, dedication and commitment we achieved our goals. We have made real impact to the community by helping them. I want to thank all the personnel of Para sa Bayan Battalion for their hardwork and selfless dedication to service."
The 104th Infantry Battalion recognized their partner stakeholders through giving plaque of appreciation for their outstanding support and contribution to the accomplishments of the unit.
Meanwhile, Maj. Gen. Patrimonio commends the accomplishments of the 104IB in its Area of Operations and urged them to remain committed to its mission.
"Time fly so fast. We just activated this battalion last year, but they have so many accomplishments. We commemorate today not only a year of steadfast dedication, but also a year of fostering peace, ensuring order and guiding development. Our admiration to Para Sa Bayan troopers for their unwaring support and continue what you have started."
In attendance during the activity were Hon. Ben-Sayeed M. Muksan, Mayor of Siasi, Brig. Gen. Eugenio C. Boquio, Commander of 1101st Brigade, 11ID Staff, Battalion Commanders, and partner stakeholders of the 104IB.
