The 11th Infantry “Alakdan” Division held a 2- Day Transition Assistance Program (TAP) at Gusto Hall, Camp Teodulfo Bautista, Barangay Busbus, Jolo, Sulu on August 22 - 23, 2023.
According to Col. Wilfredo Borgonia, Assistant Chief of Staff for Personnel, "A total of 41 retiring personnel have undergone the Pre-separation and retirement planning interview and workshop; Vocational and Technical Skills Training (VTST); Job Search Assistance (JSA); and, Business, Livelihood or Enterprise Development Assistance (BLEDA).
In a statement, Maj. Gen. Ignatius N. Patrimonio, Commander of the 11ID and Joint Task Force Sulu said, "The Alakdan Division held this program to prepare our retiring personnel who are about to leave the military service. Through this program, we will assist and train them to become productive in their civilian life. This initiative shows that we out premium on the morale and welfare of our personnel."
Transition Assistance Program (TAP) is a program of the Philippine Army that provides retiring or separating military personnel with package of services to facilitate their smooth transition to civilian life.
