Maj. Gen. Ignatius N. Patrimonio, Commander of 11th Infantry Division and Joint Task Force (JTF) Orion participated the Candidates Briefing and Peace Covenant Signing for Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Election (BSKE) 2023 with all electoral candidates in the island Municipality of Pangutaran on October 13, 2023.
Hon. Asri S Taib, Mayor of Pangutaran extends his heartfelt thanks and encourage everyone to choose and vote wisely in the upcoming BSKE.
"In this coming election, I urged everyone to choose a competent and responsible community leaders that could help for a peace and progress in our community. Also, let us maintain the good image of our municipality."
In his message, Maj. Gen. Patrimonio said that, "The JTF Orion being one of the deputized agencies of the Commission on Election (COMELEC), will ensure the conduct of orderly and peaceful BSKE. We have witnessed how peaceful was the election in the province of Sulu last year and I believed that we can also have that again. Rest assured that JTF Orion will continue to serve you with our utmost dedication and commitment to service."
Meanwhile, Atty. Vidzfar A. Julie Al-hajj, Sulu Provincial Election Supervisor III who spearheaded the peace covenant. He also encourage voters to choose wisely and respect the result of the upcoming election.
The program was concluded with the signing of integrity pledge participated by all aspiring candidates for clean, peaceful and orderly Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Election 2023.
The event was witnessed by Brig. Gen. Christopher C. Tampus, 1103rd Bde Commander; Police Col. Narciso G Paragas, Sulu Provincial Police Chief; Mr. Daniel F Gaspar, Election Officer III, JTF Orion staff and other partner stakeholders.
