Camp Bautista, Jolo, Sulu - January 8, 2024
Minister Abuambri Taddik, Ministry of Trade, Investments and Tourism Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) visited the Joint Task Force Orion at its headquarters in Camp Teodulfo Bautista, Jolo, Sulu on January 8, 2024.
Minister Taddik, together with his staff, was warmly welcomed by Maj. Gen. Ignatius N. Patrimonio, Commander of the 11th Infantry Division and Joint Task Force Orion. They were accompanied by Brig. Gen. Taharuddin P. Ampatuan, Deputy Commander for External Defense Operations of the Western Mindanao Command.
During the meeting, Maj. Gen. Patrimonio apprised Minister Taddik with the current situation, initiatives, programs, activities, and accomplishments of JTF Orion's peace and security campaign in the province of Sulu. Likewise, Minister Taddik discussed the developmental projects and programs to be implemented in support to the eco-tourism in Sulu.
Present during the visit were Hon. Nagder U. Sasapan, MTIT-Sulu and staff; Lt. Col. Samad R. Gayak Jr, Civil-Military Operations Officer; and other staff of JTF Orion.
