Military, LGU turn-over of computer laboratory and distribution of books to Panglima Mammah Elementary School

Camp Bautista, Busbus, Jolo, Sulu - February 13, 2024

The 11th Infantry Division and the Local Government Unit of Barangay Tagbak officiated the turn-over of the newly renovated Computer Laboratory and distributed books to Panglima Mammah Elementary School in Barangay Tagbak, Indanan, Sulu on February 8, 2024.

According to Mrs. Melba V. Kadil, Teacher-in-Charge of Panglima Mammah Elementary School, the renovation of this computer laboratory was made possible through the initiatives and support of the 11ID saying, "All your support to help our school meant so much not just to me and the teachers but also to our students. You made a big difference with your dedication and support to our school."

Meanwhile, Maj. Gen. Ignatius N. Patrimonio, Commander of the 11ID and Joint Task Force (JTF) Orion graced the said event saying, "We will continuously capitalize on our children and provide them with quality access to education. This computer laboratory and the given books will serve as their avenue for research and to acquire knowledge.” said Maj. Gen. Patrimonio.

Among the highlights of the activity were the ribbon-cutting ceremony and the symbolic distribution of books to the students and teachers of Panglima Mammah Elementary School.

Present during the event were Brig. Gen. Christopher Tampus, 1103rd Brigade Commander; Brig. Gen. Alexei Musñgi, Assistant Division Commander; Col. Jose Emmanuel Mariano, ADC RRA; Hji. Kiram K. Irilis, Division Superintendent MBHTE; Abnelnasser A. Kadil, Chairperson of Barangay Tagbak; Battalion Commanders, and other civilian stakeholders.
