Maj. Gen. Ignatius N. Patrimonio, Commander of the 11th Infantry “Alakdan” Division and Joint Task Force (JTF) Orion graced the 51st Founding Anniversary anchored with a theme, "51 years of Commitment to Serve with Excellence" held at its headquarters in Barangay Seit Lake, Panamao, Sulu on March 1, 2024.
Lt. Col. Homer A. Estolas, Commander of 21st Infantry Battalion expressed his gratitude to the Commander of the 11th Infantry Division, partner stakeholders, men, and women of the 21IB for their support to the unit.
Among the highlights of the unit’s anniversary celebration was the recognition of the 25 partner stakeholders including the Municipal Mayor of Panamo, Sulu, Hon. Al-frazier S. Abdurajak; PTF-ELAC Sulu, Mr. Noenyrie Asiri; MPOS-Sulu received by Mr. Al-shamier Aminulla and others for their contributions to the peace and security campaign of the battalion.
Meanwhile, Maj. Gen. Patrimonio expressed his gratitude and commended the 21IB for demonstrating their steadfast dedication to duty and unyielding commitment to service.
"As you march another year, I count on every Invincible Troopers to sustain, and to intensify the noble works that you're doing. Never rest on your laurels and never let your guard down."

Gen. Patrimonio concluded.
As part of its pre-anniversary activities, 21IB awarded their Best Team Leader, Squad Leader, and Platoon while Charlie Company of 21IB was awarded as champion for the Squad Challenge.
