6FSSU Facilitated the Construction Painting Training NCII conducted by TESDA Region VI
LTC IMELDA L NADALA QMS (GSC) PA led the closing ceremony of the Construction Painting Training NCII conducted by TESDA Region VI with RD Jerry G Tizon, JD as the Guest of Honor and Speaker at Hqs 6FSSU, ASCOM, PA
The said training was virtually opened last 22 January 2021 with a total of 25 students composed of 2 Officers, 22 Enlisted personnel and one (1) dependent.
The Construction Painting with NCII certificate is one of the programs offered by TESDA under the Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP) which is aimed at enhancing the skills, develop further the students' capability to become a more productive workforce in the Phil Army. Besides, the Filipino soldier, as agents and conduits for peace and development, are further being trained by TESDA as community partners for nation building especially in the implementation of EO 70.
The Construction painting students, after hurdling 23 days off office hours or a total of 178 hours classroom instructions and practicums, finally received their TESDA NCII and certificates of Completion last 05 April 2021.
Also present during the ocassion was the TESDA Region VI Provincial Director, Ms Noemely DG Dolar and the Acting TESDA Region V1 administrator, Mr Porferio Celestial who were then the very person who made the training a reality.
Director Dolar, in her speech as she represents the Regional Director, assured the students from 6FSSU, ASCOM, PA that the said training will definitely not be the last, rather, the unit shal expect more trainings to come in the next quarters.
The unit lauded that benevolent gesture and grateful of the assistance extended by TESDA Region VI to all its personnel.
