7FSSU initiates to Deploy QCP
Cebu City Battling an Invisible Enemy Amidst the threat of COVID 19 7 FSSU remains steadfast in frontline support roles with Local Government Agencies (LGAs) to suppress the invisible enemy Along with the community susceptible to be infected with the virus, 7FSSU with its risk taking task continuously providing Law Enforcement Support (LES) to Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Region 7 at Mactan Cebu International Airport (MCIA) during the arrival and departure of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) and local travelers in Cebu City
The unit is also providing assistance to different LGAs in enforcing Inter Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Disease (IATF EID) and health protocols to inbound / outbound passengers at seaports in order to contain the spread of the virus
Moreover, 7FSSU is supporting TG“ CBS”( Bohol and Siquijor) and Health Workers during the extraction of COVID 19 infected individuals from different Barangays in Cebu City to their designated quarantine facility
