The Philippine Army delegates emerged as the Overall Champion during the 6th Leg of the Philippine National Police-hosted Game of the Generals on March 12, 2024, at Tyro Sorta Shooting Range, Brgy. San Isidro, San Simon, Pampanga.
Team Army; composed of the Vice Commander Philippine Army Maj. Gen. Leodevic Guinid, Chief of Staff Philippine Army Maj. Gen. Potenciano Camba, Commander of Training and Doctrine Command Maj. Gen. Rex Bergante, Commander of First Scout Ranger Regiment Brig. Gen. Isagani Criste, and Assistant Division Commander of the 9th Infantry Division Brig. Gen. Jaime Abawag Jr.; also topped the Team Vs. Team Category and the competition's Stage 3.
The team faced off against the delegates from the General Headquarters, Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine Army, Philippine Air Force, Philippine Navy, Philippine National Police, and Philippine Coast Guard.
The Army leadership recognized the showcase of excellent marksmanship skills and sportsmanship among the players and encouraged fostering camaraderie among military leaders and various law enforcement agencies.
