The Philippine Army Bids and Awards Committee (PABAC) unveiled its newly repaired building and two-unit mobile kitchen in an inauguration and blessing ceremony graced by the Commanding General Philippine Army Lt. Gen. Roy M Galido at Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on March 18, 2024.
The two-unit mobile kitchen is specifically designed to provide modular support to Philippine Army units during combat operations, joint operations, and non-combat military activities, including humanitarian assistance and disaster response. This project can cater more than 300 persons simultaneously.
During the event, Lt. Gen. Galido highlighted the importance of understanding and fulfilling responsibilities within the facilities' operational framework. "Let these facilities remind us that for these projects to work properly, we should find our role, (and) our sense of purpose," he remarked.
