CGPA visits 4th Infantry Division

FORT BONIFACIO, Taguig City – The Commanding General Philippine Army, Lt. Gen. Roy M Galido visited the troops of the 4th Infantry "Diamond" Division (4ID) on April 15, 2024 at Headquarters 4ID, Camp BGen Edilberto Evangelista, Cagayan de Oro.

 

During the visit, Lt. Gen. Galido participated in the Flag raising ceremony and expressed his gratitude to the diamond troopers for their service and accomplishments. He also lauded the successes of several PA units namely, the 58th Infantry Battalion, 29th Infantry Battalion, 8th Infantry Battalion, 23rd Infantry Battalion, 30th Infantry Battalion, 36th Infantry Battalion, 1st Special Forces Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Battalion, 2nd Ranger Battalion, and 75th Infantry Battalion—for their exceptional performance, recognized through the CGPA Streamer Award, in effectively addressing threats within their designated area of responsibility.

 

The Army leadership reaffirms its commitment to enhancing operational capabilities and ensuring the security and well-being of the nation.
