FORT BONIFACIO, Taguig City – Army Chief Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido highlighted the role of Sergeant Majors in inspiring troops and fostering a culture of discipline during the closing ceremony of the Philippine Army (PA) Sergeant Major Year-end Consultative Meeting at the PA Non-Commissioned Officers (NCO) Clubhouse, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on October 18, 2024.
“Let us continue to strengthen our NCO Corps by instilling in our soldiers the core principles of the Philippine Army, ensuring that every action is rooted in discipline, honor and service,” the Army Chief told the Sergeant Majors who attended the meeting which was the highlight of the 39th PA NCO Week Celebration.
The Army Chief also challenged them to uphold integrity and to always strive to be responsive, relevant and reliable in meeting the needs of the people and the nation.
