Philippine-U.S. Army leaders hold bilateral talks at the Pentagon

The Commanding General, Philippine Army (CGPA) Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido, and U.S. Army leaders engaged in roundtable talks at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, U.S.A on November 7, 2024.

The CGPA, who was accompanied by Philippine Defense and Armed Forces Affairs (DAFA) Attaché to the U.S. Brig. Gen. Roy Anthony O. Derilo, the U.S. Department of the Army Assistant Secretary for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology and the U.S. Army General Staff Officers discussed the U.S. Army's planned assistance to bolster Philippine Army facilities and capabilities.

Meanwhile, Lt. Gen. Galido also held a separate bilateral meeting with Lt. Gen David J. Francis who leads the Center for Initial Military Training at the Pentagon. The two leaders discussed the importance of the bilateral alliance of the Philippine Army with the US Army and the training exercises between the two armies.
