Accomplishments and Successes

Chemical laboratory is one of the branches under the Quality Assurance Division of Research and Development Center (RDC), Army Support Command, Philippine Army, led by Supervisor Modest Joydalyn M Reyes with three other Chemists; Chique M Ramos, Esmail I Solaiman and Mary Ann J Jutic. RDC is commited to its Quality Policy of providing reliable quality assurance activities through accurate and efficient product testing services for the Philippine Army, other government agencies, and stakeholders. In line with this, there has been a continuous effort of this Center to abide with the mandate of the Professional Regulations Commissions (PRC) that all Chemical laboratories must comply with the Republic Act 10657 otherwise known as the “Chemistry Profession Act”. After months of pursuing the requirements and compliances, the fruit of the laborious work was reaped when the RDC Chemical Laboratory Division was granted Authority to Operate by the PRC last 03 June 2019.
The certificate of Authority to Operate which was awarded last 16 October 2019 at Century Park Hotel, Manila. The event was attended by no other than the Director of RDC LTC FRANC Y MANANQUIL OS (GSC) PA and two other Chemists. The awarding ceremony was done simultaneously with the 3rd National Conference of Chemical Laboratories. Plaque of Certificate was awarded by Dr Adoracion Resurreccion, Chair of the PRC Board of Chemistry, Ms Tess Cayton of the PRC Board of Chemistry and ICP President Dr Fabian Dayrit.
