FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila - The 11th Civil-Military Operations (CMO) Battalion of the Philippine Army distributed the relief packs donated by Landers Superstore to the residents of Brgy. Manggahan, Pasig City on April 4, 2020.
In partnership with Landers Superstore, 2Lt. Matteo Guidicelli (Reserve) generated a total of Php 9 Million through the second online fundraising concert “One Voice Pilipinas” last March 29. Meanwhile, the first online concert last March 22, has funded two relief operations for the affected residents in San Jose, Rodriguez, Rizal and Brgy Payatas, Quezon City. The second concert paved the way for the distribution of relief packs for the residents in Brgy. Manggahan whose income were affected by the enhanced community quarantine in Luzon region.
The 11th CMO Battalion of the Civil-Military Operations Regiment led the hauling and distribution of 1,000 relief packs that consists of 5 kilograms of rice, 16 pieces of canned goods and 3 packs of noodles.
“Your Philippine Army in collaboration with other stakeholders will continue to serve the people by bringing relief to our kababayans in this time of crisis.,” said the Army Spokesperson Col. Ramon Zagala.
The residents and local officials of Brgy. Manggahan expressed their gratitude to Landers Superstore, 2Lt. Guidicelli, and the Philippine Army for the donation in their barangay. Another set of donations from Landers will be distributed in other priority areas within Metro Manila. #
