PA, PAF hold joint exercises in Rizal

Philippine Army (PA) and Philippine Air Force (PAF) troops held joint exercises on military freefall, bundle drop, helicopter sniping, and fast rope insertion extraction system on March 10, 2022 at the 80th Infantry Battalion headquarters in Barangay Pinugay, Baras, Rizal.
 
The first-ever PAF-PA Interoperability Exercise—which aims to address gaps in joint operations, and achieve seamless air-to-ground communications and operations between the two Armed Forces of the Philippines major services—started on March 7 and will culminate on March 11, 2022. Around 700 Army troops and 300 PAF personnel are participating in virtual subject matter expert exchanges and face-to-face exercises.
 
Communications and electronics exercise and air evacuation training are also scheduled at Camp Capinpin, the headquarters of the 2nd Infantry Division (2ID), in Tanay, Rizal.
