The Mental Health Resiliency Center of Camp Evangelista Station Hospital (CESH), 4th Infantry Division conducted a lecture on Psychological First Aid and Spotting Red Flag at the 4th Infantry Division Training School (4DTS) at Camp Osito D. Bahian, Barangay 11, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon on February 22, 2023.
CESH resident psychologist, Mr. Mao Joseph C Licudine, and psychometrician Corporal Consuelo R. Montallana facilitated the lecture to 32 soldiers assigned with the 4DTS. Moreover, CESH also held a similar session to 42 personnel assigned to the 4th Military Intelligence Battalion based in Camp Evangelista, Patag, Cagayan de Oro City on February 20, 2023. The said activity aims to equip soldiers with working knowledge on how to cope with psychological problems. Stress Management, Effective Communication, Fundamental Interactive Communication Skills, and Suicide Awareness were also tackled during the session.
4ID's series of lectures is in line with the Army’s leadership’s thrust to ensure the mental health and well-being of soldiers through the implementation of responsive and comprehensive mental health programs.
