Army receives x-ray machines for Army hospitals nationwide

FORT BONIFACIO, Taguig City – The Philippine Army received seven x-ray machines that will turned over to various Army hospitals across the country in a turnover ceremony attended by Philippine Charity Sweepstake Office (PCSO) General Manager Melquiades A. Robles at the Army General Hospital, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on October 16, 2024.

Army Chief Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido, who graced the turnover ceremony, said that the PCSO’s donation will improve the medical capabilities and diagnostic efficiency of military treatment facilities in Philippine Army Major Units (PaMUs) and will ensure the provision of better medical services for soldiers, especially in remote areas.

Lt. Gen. Galido likewise recognized the sacrifices of soldiers and their families. “For this reason, part of the Army’s thrust is to enhance our military treatment facilities and medical equipment, allowing us to better respond to the healthcare needs of the Army family,” the Army Chief remarked.
