PA, PAF wrap up interoperability exercise

FORT BONIFACIO, Taguig City - The Philippine Army (PA) and the Philippine Air Force (PAF) strengthened the foundation for future joint air-to-ground operations as the two service branches wrapped up the five-day PA-PAF Interoperability Exercise (IOX) at the 5th Infantry Division Headquarters, Camp Melchor Dela Cruz, Upi, Gamu, Isabela, on October 11, 2024.

A total of 1,100 PA and 351 PAF personnel participated in Command Post Exercise/Staff Exercise (CPX/STAFFEX), Subject Matter Expert Exchanges (SMEEs), and Field Training Exercise (FTX) during the 3rd PA-PAF IOX.

The said interoperability exercise also provided an opportunity to evaluate and improve our ability conduct joint air and ground missions to ensure readiness in territorial defense operations.
