07 July 2023, MGEN FACUNDO O PALAFOX IV PA, Commander, Armor (PAMBATO) Division, Philippine Army visited the 7th Cavalry “MASASARIGAN” Company (SEPARATE) and presided over the Change of Command Ceremony of the unit.
8th Infantry (Stormtroopers) Division, Phil Army, warmly welcomed MGEN PALAFOX IV with a traditional Arrival of Honor led by BGEN PERFECTO P PEÑAREDONDO PA, ADC, 8ID, PA.
THE TURNOVER OF UNIT COLORS IS A LONG-LASTING MILITARY TRADITION THAT SYMBOLIZES THE HAND-OVER OF TRUST AND RESPONSIBILITY OF A UNIT.
The 7th Cavalry “MASASARIGAN” Company (Separate) was formally turned over by the Outgoing Company Commander, CPT NICKO REY T GUMPAL (ARM) PA, to the Incoming Company Commander, CPT ORVILLE JOS DANIEL B LATAP (ARM) PA, in a Change of Command Ceremony presided by MGEN FACUNDO O PALAFOX IV PA, Commander, Armor (PAMBATO) Division, Philippine Army last 07 July 2023 at Headquarters 7th Cavalry Company (Separate), Armor Division, Philippine Army, Camp Gen Vicente R Lukban, Maulong, Catbalogan City, Samar.
MGEN PALAFOX IV congratulated the outgoing commanding officer for a job well done, in addition, he challenged the newly installed commanding officer to be able to respond to whatever needs arise.
The Change of Command Ceremony was witnessed by Men and Women of the 8ID, PA led by MGEN CAMILLO Z LIGAYO PA, Division Commander, Post, Tenant, OPCON Units of 8ID, and stakeholders of the unit.
