CMS Abundio Q Nopre III (Inf) PA was designated as the 6th Command Sergeant Major of the 9th Infantry (SPEAR) Division, Philippine Army on 03 December 2022. He is purely Bicolano that born on 22 January 1970 at Brgy Sabang, Naga City.

CMS Abundio Q Nopre III (Inf) PA took his elementary education at Naga Parochial School in 1983, secondary education at Ateneo De Naga University in1987 and short stint in college at University of Nueva Caceres before he entered the military service on 16 November 1987 and Enlisted as Private to the regular force on 16 February 1988.

His first unit assignment was at 5SRB, FSRR, PA that geographically deployed at the hinterland municipalities of Nueva Viscaya and Pangasinan and later on redeployed at the island province of Negros Occidental and Oriental.

On January 1990 to 20 February 2005 CMS Nopre III was re-assigned at 31IB,2ID PA based at Gumaca, Quezon and was designated as Rifleman, Intel Operative, Filing Clerk, OB Analyst and COLT Team Leader, then he was re-assigned at 65IB, 9ID, PA based at Ligao City, Albay and designated as Intelligence Operation NCO of the unit in few months, again he was relieved and re-assigned at 9DTS, 9ID, PA from 25 November 2005 to 01 October 2015 designated as Instructor, Personnel and Intel NCO of the school, First Sgt and later on as Acting Sgt Major of the School before he undergone Sgt Major Course at CGSC, AFP, CGEA, QC.

Upon graduating from SMC, he was designated as the Battalion Sgt Major of 83IB for more than a year and again designated as Brigade Sgt Major of 902BDE for more than four (4) years before he was installed as Division Sgt Major of 9ID.  

CMS Nopre III also undergone different Military Schoolings, Trainings and Seminars, to name a few; he is graduate of Scout Ranger Orientation Course, Special Operation Team Training, CAA Cadre Course, Order of Battle Training, Tactical Intel Operation Course, Landmine Warfare Training, Investigation Technique and Procedure, Instructor Development Training, Observer Controller Training, Military Intelligence NCO Basic and Advance Course and many more.

He was also recipient of different awards and decorations such as; Military Merit Medal with Bronze Spearhead Device and Anahaw Leaf, Bronze Cross Medal, Military Commendation Medal, Anti Dissident Campaign Medal and Ribbon and other awards and Letter of Commendations from the High Ranking Officers of the AFP and Civilian sectors.

He was happily married to former Rachell Dela Cruz of Gumaca, Quezon and blessed with five (5) children namely; Kyle Bryan, Kate Allen, Kian Clyde, Koji Daniel and Kaci Elise.
