CAMP SIONGCO, Awang, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao – suspected drug personality was arrested by the combined government troops of 19th Infantry Battalion, Philippoine Army, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group of Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao and the Datu Odin Sinsuat Police Station during the conduct of law enforcement support operation around 2:30 o’clock early this mornig, 28 May 2017 at Barangay Marguez, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao.
The joint forces of the military and police served search warrant against Mike Diocolano @ Mike, known to be connected with illegal drug activities operating in Datu Odin Sinsuat and nearby municipalities.
Along the apprehension was the recovery of one M16 bushmaster, one M16 rifle, one M14, one shotgun, one caliber 45, one caliber 22 rifle, four rife grenade, one handheld radio, assorted ammunitions and magazines.
603rd Brigade Commander, Colonel Jesus B. Sarsagat, indicated that his brigade’s campaign efforts are embedded in 6ID’s campaign plan so as to deliver a deliberate and well-planned law enforcement support operation.
On the other hand, 6ID Commander Major General Arnel V. Dela Vega, congratulated the troops of 19IB under Lieutenant Colonel Crizaldo A. Fernandez for the successful operation that resulted to the apprehension of drug personality.
